Super RELAY Saturday set for May 17th

Community -- Fundraising Drive

Relay for Life

Event Date: 5/17/2008

Event Time: to

Event Location:Around Town

Relay For Life is in full gear. Even though the Relay event isn’t until June 13-14, fundraising has begun. The big day for team fundraising is May 17th, Super RELAY Saturday!

Residents of Medfield are encouraged to support the Relay For Life. Don’t miss out! Look for the following:

In front of Lord’s on Main Street, the SuperTroopers team will be selling chances to win many exciting items including tickets to a Red Sox game, a handmade quilted jacket, a digital camera, jewelry and much more! Another team is fundraising by taking orders from a representative trader from the Phoenix Trading Card Co. A percentage of all that is sold will be donated to the MHS Alumni: Warriors Fighting Cancer team. Also there will be a table where Luminaria bags will be sold for $5 each. These bags can be purchased in honor of a cancer survivor or in memory of a cancer victim and will be used during the Luminaria ceremony at the Relay.

Stop by the Wheelock Soccer fields on Saturday morning, between 8:45 until 12 noon, and look for members of the Flower Children team. They are selling coffee, hot chocolate and muffins!

And don’t forget to stop at the incredible new shop, Dazzles on Janes Avenue (behind Town Hall). The owner is donating 10% of sales on Super Saturday to the Relay For Life.
